Perfect Popcorn Balls Recipe
¾ cup corn syrup
¼ cup butter
2 teaspoon cold water
2 ½ cups confectioners’ sugar
1 cup marshmallows
Amish Country Caramel Popcorn Glaze, for seasoning
5 quarts plain popped popcorn
In a saucepan, combine corn syrup, butter, water, confectioners’ sugar, popcorn glaze, and marshmallows. Heat and stir until mixture comes to a boil. Combine hot mixture with popcorn, coating each kernel.
Grease hands with shortening and quickly shape coated popcorn into balls before it cools. Wrap with cellophane and enjoy! These make great gifts.
